Where ya been?

Sorry, poor English I know, but the standard backpacker question is something along the lines of "so where ya been, where ya going?". If I had a penny for every time I asked or answered that question... I'd have lots of pennies.

During the 2005 trip I visited:

  • India (Southern tip, Tamil Nadu / Kerala to Himachal Pradesh)
  • China (Kong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Yunnan Province)
  • Thailand (Bangkok, Ko Chang)
  • Cambodia (Siem Reap, Phnom Penh)
  • Vietnam (Mekong Delta, Saigon, Da Lat, Ho Chi Minh Trail, Hoi An)
  • Australia (Sydney, Red Center, Cairns to Sydney via Whitsundays and Fraser Island)
  • New Zealand (South Island loop from Christchurch, Far North Island)
  • Tahiti
  • Easter Island
  • Chile (Santiago)
  • Argentina (Mendoza, San Carlos de Bariloche)
  • Peru (Lima, Cusco, Inca Trail, Puno, Lake Titicaca)
  • Bolivia (La Paz, Salar de Uyuni)
  • US (Miami, New York, both for one night only, saw bugger all!)
